Fresh Cranberry Sauce

Fresh Cranberry Sauce Recipe

  • 16 ounces of fresh cranberries chopped (a nut grinder is perfect for grinding the cranberries or a food processor pulsed 2-4 times, using the metal blade)
  • 1-1/2 cups of sugar
  • Juice of 2 oranges
  • Rind of 1 orange, chopped fine
  • 1 cup of walnuts
  • 2 cups of apples chopped, medium fine

Mix all the ingredients for the fresh cranberry sauce recipe and let set for several hours. Drain extra liquid off, if necessary.  This sauce will keep for a week or more so it can be prepared ahead of time.
