Clam Linguine

Clam Linguine Recipe

  • 1 pound of butter
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • Juice from three lemons
  • 1/4 cup of fresh chopped parsley
  • 1/2 cup of chopped olives
  • Handful of fresh mushrooms
  • 1 pound of small sized shrimp
  • 3 cans minced or chopped clams and the water they are packed in
  • 1/2 cup of Romano cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup of white wine 

Bring all ingredients to boil and then reduce heat and simmer one hour.  30 minutes before serving add 1/2 pint of half & half or cream.  If needed, blend corn starch and water and add to sauce to thicken.  Pour over linguine noodles for an elegant serving of your clam linguine recipe.
